What happened to getting rid of everything but MF? Lovely pics though. Share more ! What film btw?

Expired arista 400. Too lazy to sell atm.

A mate of mine bought a Canon A1 recently which is having light leak issues. Am I right in saying red light leak is coming in through the rear i.e bad light seals on the door? And white = light leak from the front?

I'd say it's rear only. Front / lens leaks look different.
Just tape the rear with black textile tape / get new seals if they look crumbly already.

Finished up a roll of Ultramax 400 in Mju ii this morning before work, decided to say fuck it and take the roll to Bayeux to see what PROPER scans look like. Wasnt dissapointed. Took the roll in at 12 and had the scans the same day. Wasnt cheap, even with student discount

At the risk of sounding like @platypus these are VERY sharpened. Haloing around the leaves top right. Who scanned them? Nice composition though! Very calming

You are correct. I got trigger happy with the sharpen slider in that batch of rolls from a fortnight ago. I did not even know that such an artifact existed, is that a result of scanning? I likely nudged highlights and shadows on these too. They were developed and scanned by a local shop in Dublin who then ping a WeTransfer to me and I grab the negs later.

Yeah 90% sure its in scanning/editing. These are super tight crops of the same neg, scanned by two different places. I know which one I'll never use again :)

With all this talk of scanning, where’s good? Currently based in the east so around here would be good. Eyeculture put a whacking great scratch in my negs last time I went to them to possibly someone else. EC1 Labs any good? Maybe I’m being swayed by a collective of the same name but I get the impression they’re kinda knob-y

Eyeculture is possibly the worst laboratory ever.

ECOne is good, Gary is a really nice chap.
I would recommend also Rapid Eye and Artful Dodgers.
I don't recommend Bayeux or BDI.
If you start shooting a lot of rolls PM me and I will link you a very good lab in East.
