I saw the aldi one, it's the same unit as sold by SGS engineering for £10 more, the benefit with the SGS one is you can upgrade to a bigger tank - I was thinking of going for a 50ltr one as i think the 24ltr tank might be too small for what i need.

Ah interesting. Yes, I do worry about the 24lt tank too. Will look at SGS, also I couldn't find out what fittings the Aldi one has, some old posts say it has non standard fittings which would suck.

Even 50ltr will be on ALL THE TIME for stuff like shot blasting or painting. If you can get belt driven and 100 litre cheapish do that. Far less far less often...

what about the aldi one for £70? currently looking for one myself, just missed a couple of cheap ones in a local auction.
