Really want something like this. Hopefully getting a ‘cargo’ bakfiets custom/diy thing made for me this week, but the bmx-cum-cargo style looks so good.

Won’t be used for heavy-heavy loads. Will be adding a box frame to increase rigidity and reduce flex.

The guy says he stands on the frame in the jig to check the strength, had been sent photos of adults riding in the front.

Deffo won’t be shifting >50kg. Probs limited to bulky loads rather than weighty ones.

Added studded tyres to the bullitt last night. First ride today over frozen roads with zero incidents. Slightly higher rolling resistance of course, but I could go a lot quicker than usual. Or rather, I could ride at all :)

Not sure whether these "Urban Arrow" bikes have been discussed in here?

Just saw one earlier today, a Hermes courier on one of those (the one in the middle of this pic-)

It looked massive, and not exactly a thing of beauty, but was happily cruising past me, uphill!

Yeah, that one was filled with big boxes of paper for handouts at the bike show and still was easy to ride. If I had somewhere suitable to park it or lived on ground level I'd get one.
