Interesting. I have a set that no longer function, so was planning on re-purposing them as brake levers. Was it a huge faff to achieve (sanding excluded)?

@coldharbour did these, but has no issues

I have done two sets of ten speed levers and it’s quite easy to do, from memeory the only ‘special’ tool you need is just something to knock a pin out, but a decent nail or similar will do it
