Feel like a real bargain hunter would do something, but in the end if he says 'ok mate ship it back and i'll refund you the shipping fee' I wouldn't bother because it still seems like an OK price?
A quick DuckDuck gives you a full breakdown on what the Gringo is. A cheap aluminium thing. Seller should have done their homework. I guess you could have done yours too, but yeah the fault really is with the seller.
I did do a bit of googling and indeed couldn't find mention of a steel gringo, but figured that maybe there had been one and I just couldn't find it. Hard to know exactly what it is without info on model year etc.
More of a grumble because I doubt I'll do anything about it, but I won this orange gringo:
