• Do folks use the same internal width on front and rear? If you couldn't for some reason, I guess you'd want the narrower rim on the back?

    Found a cheap 30mm internal rim, buying a second one would be >£50. A 25mm internal and matching is £30 so wondering if that'll do.

    Edit: I'm currently rocking 19mm front and rear. My gravel thing has wider rims than my MTB

    Yeah that will do. Unless you have specific wideness requirements?

  • No specific requirements at all. The 30mm was "free" because I had a gift card - just want something properly tubeless and wider than my current 19mms. Max tyre in my current frame is probably 2.35" so 25mm rear will be fine I think.
