get out of bedcross the river for less than £10k. I think by the sound of it 48s in Lake will be too big anyway. I might poke my head in the Evans here and see what they have.

The Lakes are seriously massively wide. I love mine. They are the ONLY comfortable cycling shoes I have ever owned. Don't worry about the arch thing - the soles are removable and the custom inners will slide right in.
I have some unworn 48s in a box next to my desk if you fancy a ride SE to try them on. Bring Mal. :)
