Do folks use the same internal width on front and rear? If you couldn't for some reason, I guess you'd want the narrower rim on the back?
Found a cheap 30mm internal rim, buying a second one would be >£50. A 25mm internal and matching is £30 so wondering if that'll do.
Edit: I'm currently rocking 19mm front and rear. My gravel thing has wider rims than my MTB
I've got a 25mm internal rear/30mm internal front on this. Mostly because It's got a 2.3" rear/2.6" front tyre combo
Yeah that will do. Unless you have specific wideness requirements?
No law that says you must have the same width rims (or tyres). I guess which way round to set them up (and thus where you'll get more tyre volume/potentially a stronger rim) will vary depending on your bike/preferences.
