Great! I have an unridden hooligan in my mums loft, really need to get it running next time I am back in the uk

It's so cool, and the first one of those I've seen. That fork is wild, it'd be a shame to lose it. Seems early for discs on a cross bike as well.
If it was a 56 I'd be hitting up the retrobike collection assistance thread right now.

Working on a R600 size 50x50 for my girlfriend. Cables have stripped off some paint from headtube. I didn't find many options in Ebay for a new headtube decal, but has any of you got that from Cannondale directly?
I have 2x10 Shimano 105 rear derailleur and brifters, keep original RX100 wheels and brakes, replace the original Kalloy seat post with Kingsbery, get Nitto or Zenith Stem with Deda Piega. I think for the saddle I'll use Fabric Scoop. And I also already sold RX100 crankset and replaced it with Shimano 600/Deore triple, as it's 110 BCD and I reckon I'll put 46-34 rings.
EDIT: now that I found that one can identify year and month of manufacturing, so it's 1995 December.

Highly unlikely for something that old. It would have had the old school Building logo.
-
• #10842
It's actually slightly newer triangle logo, but yes, you may be right.
-
• #10843
Someone might be able to draw you a vector to cut a vinyl replacement if you have a photo of the head tube
-
• #10844
Surely there are loads of Cdale logos of every vintage on eBay or usual vendors
-
• #10845
Yeah. There should be people online who will sell you one. Just not Cannondale themselves.
-
• #10846
Thanks, it's for sure an easy task to solve. Actually when I figured out to search Ebay with R700 instead of R600 I found the whole set in correct color.

the old school Building logo
Thought it was Cannondale train station ?
Edit - I feel like I've just questioned God.
-
• #10848
Yeah it is. Poor choice of words.
Old school as in well old, building as in the train station building...
ugh

I’ve just ordered the 2019 FSA SLK in-line 25.4mm post.
For £90 and with Chromoly hardware I’m pretty fucking seething, but I’m also skeptical of Hylix stuff after having had a number of their bits in the past and really not feeling their quality or capability.
That said, a number have used the Hylix comfortably.
Will report back on thoughts when I get my hands on the FSA.
Immediately thinking about updating all hardware to Ti....

Well that's cheaper than Lefty 100 hr service...
Oh that’s sweet. Would be rad as a gravel bike with a carbon fork.
Seller also has a cool caad5 mtb with Ti lefty currently cheap

Difference in radius of 26 to 650b is like 12mm isn’t it? Big 650b slicks would probably fit for a equally cool gravel/bikepacking/flat bar thing
