Time Trial / Time Trialling / TT

I think alex dowset has been allowed to race as a privateer as he has to race in Pro gear for the team etc, but think this is just in e region and is a special arrangement for him

It's not a special arrangement, any member of a UCI registered trade team can compete in CTT time trials without being a member of an affiliated club

7. Who may compete
Competitors in Type A events must be either:
(a) members of clubs directly affiliated to the Company* or of the Headquarters' Club; or
(b) schools' representatives when riding in Youth Championship events; or
(c) members of overseas clubs or trade teams affiliated through their National Governing Body or Federation to the Union Cycliste Internationale (U.C.I.)
