  • Just a bit of fun but who do you think is at fault here?
I took a mobile call yesterday from the double glazing company to ask if the following day's appointment time could be moved. My wife was going to be at home for the original appointment time. So, rather than fuck about, I said that I could not make any changes to the appointment time as my wife was non-contactable at that time. It was therefore agreed that no change to the original time would be made.
As there was nothing changed I didn't bother to tell my wife about the call. I didn't know that my son had taken the original call, to the house, and had written down the alternate timing and left the note for my wife. She didn't tell me about the note and the different arrangement apparently shown on the note. Today she went out and got back just as the glazing rep was about to drive away. The meeting took place and nobody died, phew.
Now I'm getting bollocked for not telling my wife about my phone call because it's all my fault that she nearly missed the guy.
