I am not getting enough stopping power with Spyres.

I am heavy, plus Surly Straggler plus luggage which is heavy and my daughter on the back...

Want maximum stopping power really.

Changing out the stock pads makes a huge difference to Spyres. I use Uberbike race matrix pads. Compressionless cable outer makes a marginal difference as well.
