I assumed the 'pay £9 so you get compensation if we are late' was an intelligence test.
Actually, it might be against the law as it is really a form of gambling. And one where they have all the data so should be able to stack the odds.
If they can get people to sign up for that they should give up flying the planes and just focus on running a book on whether flights will be on time or not
