Just looking at how to get back from Brest.
Ferry from Roscoff is in the afternoon so would need to stay overnight in Plymouth.
Other option is Ryanair to Southend. Flight is cheap but it costs more for the bike than the ticket - 60 fucking Euros.
And Southend is not that close. I've done bike rides from London to Southend before.
Not sure I'm up for the hassle of boxing the bike up, enduring a doing over by Ryanair's customer service and still ending up in Southend. It was easier to get back from Canekkale.
