Next I need to go shopping for a couple of bags (probably top tube or handlebars, and a medium/large saddle one).

I'd go for the stem bag and/or bar bag, they're much more practical than you'd think, handy for small stuff like cameras and money.

Couldn’t recommend Mack, service is appalling at best. Products are good though which is just frustrating.

I honestly can't comment, I only got a couple of his stuff in the last couple years, and still use his tool bag that he modified for me since 2015.
