That normal, a lots of bicycle manufacturer have a specific number of spacer, such as Specialized having a max of 45mm.

eTap and breakaway frames are very good partners for one another.

How is etap progressing? Love the idea of it, but haven’t heard much about how it’s working in the real world.
The idea of a travel frame with etap is seductive.

I think the fact that you haven’t heard much speaks volumes. There was a sense of expectation, given SRAM’s recent issues with quality, that the recall was just a matter of time. It hasn’t happened because the product was rock solid when it was launched.

I’ve been running it for nearly 3 years now and it hasn’t missed a beat.

I’ve not put nearly as many miles on it as Andy has, but FWIW mine (on a travel bike) has been rock solid

Weirdly my Breakaway cross TI frame has rear mudguard mount/rack mount, but no front mount.

and then repaint it? cba

Mudguards would make packing the bike impossible unless you removed them, significantly increasing the pain in the arse factor.

Road Logic though, not breakaway

At some point the americans might release a road logic disk, 5 years too late!
