Haha thanks! Yeah so started off originally with the paint stripper. Moved onto sanding off the last bits of primer, and then picking out the hard to reach bits from the carbon weave. Then started polishing up the fork crown from 800 grit to 3000 🤯 and after that hit it with the metal polish. A couple hours work on the crown in total.
Carbon was cleaned up properly from dust etc and given a go with 3 coats of lacquer, polishing back each time. Still have to do the final polish but I’m happy with where it’s at! I’d say it’s nearing 7 hours of work (excluding drying and stripper time) and about £25 spent on materials
