So can someone explain to a noob like me why this would be worth €6k? It's a very very nice bike, but the price is clearly beyond 'very very nice', so there should be something that justifies that?

I think it's because it's made in Australia and stuff in Aus is pricey. Equivalent made in Europe is about half the price.
