It's Oxblood colour Chromexcel, and yes, 178 (that is the standard height, 7 eyelets)
They look higher because the tongue comes up really high. I'm not sure they didn't forget to trim that, I'll be cutting them down myself I think. Just been for a walk and they are really comfy straight out the box.

Very nice! What model were they based on - 178s (with extra eyelets?) And what colour is that leather exactly? I could be tempted to go for that as and when I get another pair...
