Sounds like you’re pretty set in my mind.
Perhaps a better navigation device. But using your phone will be good for that. Get osm maps downloaded and get your gpx routed saved on the phone. An app like maps.me.
You’ll proberbly want wider tyres, given the gravel. But I haven’t researched it so I can’t say for sure.
