It really depends on the market.
In the middle of a frenzied house price explosion where everyone's desperate to get an offer accepted because it'll cost £20k more by this time next week, trivial stuff like paint colour really makes no difference.
Clearly, that's not quite the current market in most of the UK, and generally buyers will have an adequate range of suitable properties to consider, and no great rush because Brexit. In these circumstances, it makes sense to minimise reasons why a buyer might prefer another property to yours. Such as orange walls.
