Our Vax has been good, was 10th the price of a Dyson.

Bought our mini one either from lidl or via Groupon in 2013 and it's still working perfectly.
The only negative is the general poor stand holder design (copied from Henry) and the plastic tab it uses breaking. Although Tbh I tend to separate the parts for storage anyway.
Full disclosure: I do wash the plastic internals from time-to-time, and clean the filter once a year.
