  • rouble of a radioactive wasteland

    @Howard
Some might think we are as likely to be blitzed by a Trump nuke.

Wouldn't that create a dollar of a radioactive wasteland?

  • You missspelt self serving manipulative serial wife cheater.

  • In places like Italy/greece the refugees are a real issue and the rise of the right wing.

  • But not in Spain where they also get a lot of people. The government there is different, they don't see economical/social problems as inherently linked with immigrants.

So, the "issue" is again, depending on where you are and who you ask. Poorer areas always get more refugees because the government wants to house cheaply and they don't get much cash at all. But that also happens in all EU countries.

With the UK getting a whole, wait for it, whole 30 thousand Syrian refugees and the Netherlands [pop 19million] got 60 thousand Syrian refugees alone, the UKian complaining about this, well, it seems to be me that it was conveniently made a "we must leave the EU issue" for the leave campaign.

The Netherlands has shit stirrers attacking people in meetings on where to house refugees temporarily, had to use old school building etc. But it is THE issue here? Really?

And leaving the EU won't work anyway, whomever is closests gets the most refugees. That's why it is so grating to me that the UK is making a big fuss where most people have already passed through and stayed in another EU country. They pretty much had to make the UK take a few in, and they are STILL complaining.

[not that the EU can't do more to help Greece, and actually some Dutch people drove down to ask if they could bring refugees up. But the Greek government couldn't make this work. But again, the UK doesn't really have grounds to complain I think]

  • obvious answer is obvious.
inequality caused by capitalism creates unrest that is blamed on 'other' by capitalists that don't want to stop getting richer.

  • Scientists using a monitoring station near the Houses of Parliament found there was a constant low level of cocaine entering the river, The Sunday Times reported

The paper has been read alongside a separate report, published by the University of Naples Federico II last year, which showed European eels “appeared hyperactive” when put in water containing a small dose of cocaine.

  • Can only comment on Italy and Greece, from what I have seen for years, but not recently..if that makes sense.

Then this is played on by the media and the local council..

  • In other words pure bollocks. And they even made up the quote for the title.

  • Another rich Brexit supporter moving his business out of the UK

James Dyson being a cunt is not news, ofc.

  • A cunt that formerly threatened to move his company HQ to Singapore if the UK didn't adopt the Euro and join Shengen no less.

  • Yep, the media/some politicians of course will use it in Italy/Greece too.

But it has nothing to do with the UK immigration, the UK is not in Schengen and no in refugee taking agreements with the EU. Leave.eu and the F-word with his "europe can't cope" poster of course tried to make it look like it was so.

  • I was working on the New Product Innovation team at Dyson when we had the referendum. JD sent out several mass company wide emails urging all employees to vote leave.

I messaged some old collegues there to say I hope it doesnt effect them too much about an hour or so ago, just after i heard the news on Radio 4 , and none of them had even been told about it yet.

He is a cunt of the highest order, and I am very happy i no longer work for him designing his shit heap products.

  • Has this been resolved yet?

  • That's not new info though is it?

I will never buy a Dyson and will only use a 'spoons in "emergencies". :)

  • Annonced last year that manufacturing of the electric car will happen in Singapore - todays announcement of relocation of HQ to Singapore is a whole different ball game, and could likely mean the loss of jobs in Malmesbury as opposed to a load of jobs that are due to be created in the UK being created in Singapore instead.

  • LOL some people’s ideas modelling Britain on Singapore.

  • I see.

    Fuck Dyson twice then.

    #buyavax

  • Vax are fucking shite tho.

Buy a Henry. Bomb proof, no bag, could hoover up the remnants left by an IED.

  • Spoons is always the best place in Stansted airport to eat my home baked naturally levained before a flight.

And I helped my mum buy because she liked a Dyson. Made a Dyson Brexit joke the German salesman did not get.

  • Our Vax has been good, was 10th the price of a Dyson.

    Henry is jokes.

  • What hope is there for us if even your own kith and kin don’t get your jokes?

  • Maybe it would be good time to let NI join Ireland. In EU catholic majority would be forced to deal fairly with protestant minority.

  • I said it before on this forum, Dyson are shite. Very poor value for money.
