Nice, What are the first impressions of that dynamo light mount on the guards?
Does it seem fairly stable?

Rock solid. I have the short GB guards though so it only protrudes 130mm from the fork crown (where it's bolted) so there's very little leverage.
I'd guess that mounting it farther forward on the longer guard would make for a less stable light.

Cheers I'm trying to work out if the SKS Edge AL guards will be rigid enough for the mount and a light, I guess it helps the Edelux doesn't weigh much. My girlfriend wants black guards which rules out GB ones unfortunately.

I dropped the idea of using silicone. Instead i just stuck the wire in the gap and then carefully rolled over the mudguard edges every few cm to loosely crimp the wire in place. Works perfectly.
