Oh wow - now that's a question.
For both the amp and the speakers you may be best to pop into a store and give them a listen.
Out of the few I tried the Yamaha sounded best to my ears.
In terms of speakers I'd suggest you work out how much you can spend and work back from there, floorstanders, book shelves, there's an awful lot of choice. That's part of the fun!

Cheers, dude. Yes it's a strong contender, assuming it sounds good. Heard good things about the Yamaha Musicast multiroom. I've heard Yamaha amps can be a bit bright. Anyone have speaker recommendations for this amp?
