  • Thanks @Hovis. Well, what I did was bring the piece in the house and let it dry near a radiator. The glue seems to have dried clear but it's taken over 48h for some bits. I'm gonna put a load of screws in and call that a lesson learned.

  • Yeah good idea. I've been combating this by trying to get the wood into the house first so it gets to room temperature and then take it out again for the glue up, then straight back in until it dries. Wife's hates me for it though.

  • That's what people on the internet seem to recommend as well. Now I now why these Canadian YouTube woodworkers bang on about heating their workshops.
