I thought, (never experienced it), that the airline that delivered you to the US
with invalid paperwork were deemed responsible by US Immigration,
and they had to find a seat to get you out of the US.
Oh that does make sense (in as much as US border control ever makes sense), thanks. He actually lived for years in the city he's being taken to so if he's just ditched there will have some friends to offer him a couch if he needs it and I can tell the family who are freaking out.
