Yep, it's green shoot frenzy over here too. I love it.
I have also just got a compost bin (a neighbour left it out on the street. I hope I fare batter than they did with it.)
I've put it on the decking which is good because I will actually use it and bad because it won't have the soil goodness working upwards.
I have sat it on top of two heavy duty green garden waste bags to limit damage to the deck and am going to grab some established compost from a neighbour's heap to act as a starter layer. Fingers crossed..
