The streaming through the yamaha is a piece of cake, we've now got 3 yamaha amps set up throughout the house and spotify is just a single click, as are most of the functions.
On the RN803 you'd need a separate CD player - https://www.richersounds.com/yamaha-cds300-blk.html that model has optical out the 803 has optical so you could hook it up that way.
If space is a premium you may want to look into a smaller amp, I picked up the WXA50 - a smaller network player just before Christmas and it's no bigger than a couple of dvd cases. In your case it also has optical out so again could be hooked up to the TV.

^ Thanks, both. Not a bad idea - I know Yamaha do some with streaming stuff built in. How would that be managed with the Genelecs, though? Chromecast on its way out I gather... And could a CD player be hooked up to something like this?
