I used these guys back in '13. I had a very specific wishlist, and it was for a picture I liked so I wanted to do it properly. At the time Mrs H was baffled that I spent so much on a bespoke frame. 6yrs on I'm still pleased. Basically idk ft it's economical for what you're after, but I thought they were good.
Otherwise it can be tough (Mrs H spent ages finding inexpensive black ones for us). Amazon has some decent cheap ones, in the end we made our own mount and got the frames from wilcos.
Wood will tend to scale up as the frame increases in size. So if you want a thin bezel on a larger picture you need to change material. For that reason we switched from wood to plastic, as we didn't want the outlay of alu.
