Shame its so big! Losa is one of the greatest builders of all time

yeah I think the same.
the unusual thickness was a super elegant solution to avoid too much bending on the frame while pushing hard on pedals, and transferring all the power one the rear wheel. trust me, it works! -

My beloved bike here, Mosconi Competizione Pista frame, custom made by Vanni Losa around 1984-1985 for a quite and tall pistard probably involved in very speed-demanding races (sprints and such).
Columbus SL tubing, custom thick tubing for fork and chainstays.
Metallic green blue (quite astonishing colour if you ask)
Undrilled chrome fork
Seat tube is 61 cm ctc
Top tube is 58 cm ctc
Gipiemme Special Pista headset
VP components Sealed Bottom bracket
Rear wheel Hope ISO hub, Bobaxle2, ISO 18t cog, Nisi low profile rim, Schwalbe Marathon plus tyre
Front wheel with Campagnolo Record hub, Nisi low profile rim, Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyre
Gipiemme Special Pista 50t crankset with engraved “Marchini Castelleone“ (old bike team)
Spd Shimano M520 pedals
3ttt Protitanium 110 stem (ultra rare), Riser handlebar 630mm, handlebar handles Odi.
Deda zero15 silver seatpost (not in picture), Saddle Turbo 1985 (black)
Very good overall conditions, frame it's been around for 34 years now.
some scratches, no rust, no dents, perfectly straight tubing.
Rigid, reactive and super responsive, obviously has a definitely noticeable overlap with your feet on pedals (as a classic track bike) and you should be aware of it, while riding with heavy traffic around :)
650€ or willing to trade with a Surly Steamroller 59 cm (trade depends on the build, let's talk about it).
Bike is located in Italy, I can arrange shipping in Europe, with a price to be confirmed (roughly 50€).
Hit me up if you like some other detailed pics or for info.
