    Have got back on the MFP and tracking my daily calories and macros.

    On a side note, could a sort of brain fog be caused by diet at all?

  • I definitely have days where I have had not enough food where it feels like my brain is working in slow motion. The brain is the most glycogen-hungry organ in the body (IIRC), so it definitely needs feeding - but I'm not sure if there is any science to back up the feeling of brain fog, as I would assume that it also has priority for any glucose in the blood

  • Lots of mentions of brain fog as a by product of eating a processed food/carb heavy diet by those who favour a LCHF diet. I've always thought it was a bit psuedo science myself (even though I like LCHF) and is just used as a way of promoting that type of diet.
