Looks like we'll be going to Liguria in April. Anyone been riding out there?
Genoa for 2 days at least, but will likely go to Finale Ligure (obvs) and maybe elsewhere

hmmm
been confirmed moving later this year.
from Dover area to within striking distance of all the Welsh bike parks and venues and easy to hit M6 north to Scotland for the Fort and Coe chairlifts :)If I sell the hardtail frames that gives me loads of spares to run a burly park bike which could go lighter for enduro style. (stacks of 26" bits)
And Monk for getting rad.Do I get rad now or wait until next year when I am closer ? wondering about a raid on the MacAvalanche again :)

Get rad now. Shred the gnar, hit the brown pow, rip, roost, etc.
If you ever want to taste some South Wales steep tech when you move drop me a message. Got all flavours of off piste for you.

Used to race the Dragons :)
Miss Welsh racing. -

Shred it. Without delay.

The Dragon series was a long time ago, great as it was. There's a shit ton of trails being built now, multiple crews in every valley. Never been a time like this for trail building here.
Tirpentwys, Freerideworld, Smilog, Masts, Loamworld, Wylie; it's off piste nirvana. :) -

Starling Cycles Beady Little Eye
110mm. Slack. Steel. Singlespeed.
It looks like so much fun I might have to start trying to come up with a way to have one as a trail bike!

Currently using the cranks, forks, brakes and wheels off the Marin that broke, certainly in the market for another hardtail frame some time in the future. £0.00 budget for now though.

Only do it if you're going to use the parks a LOT. I bought a second hand Spec Big hit and although it was a beast in the bike parks, I never used it nearly enough to justify it. That said, I used it a dozen times then flogged it to a mate for the same price I bought it for so I suppose I can't complain.

Anyone up for visiting South Wales for guided rides that don't include the trail centres and bike parks? So much stuff to show. Was thinking of aiming for a date in April. Or May. Or something.
-
• #13143
Would be keen.
Also looks like we'll be doing a day at BPW on Feb 15th, and a day after somewhere else. Is off-piste stuff horrid that time of year?

Depends on much it's been raining and which area. It's never going to be in the kind of condition that armoured trails are in, but then a lot of the fun and challenge is in riding them despite this.
I'm around that weekend so you can always shout me if you want to ride something. -

Might well be keen to get the ferry over for this! What sort of stuff will be involved?
