OG Bowman Palace clicking like a MF whenever out of the saddle at bottom of DS pedal stroke.
Tighten chainring bolts = still clicky
Replaced 3yo DA BB86 press fit BB = still clicky
Inspect ancient Shimano 6700 crankset and discover worrying cracks radiating from inside of spider. Replace crankarms = still clicky
Drive side 6700 pedal body has been wobbling for ages so replace with brand new axle unit = still clicky
Endgame losing my temper wanting to bin the bike I check the derailleur hanger bolts and find one of the two bolts has a quarter turn of play in it. Tighten = SILENCE
TLDR = hanger retention bolts need some Loctite or you will spend £100
