Maybe cross post the above to the craftspeoples thread too?
I'm going to forget to look in the car thread for them later... -
• #46154
I know right? I love it to look at but I'm far more interested in 2 wheeled pursuits to keep that much car. It needs a better home.

Ship it back over, it's ULEZ exempt I assume
-
• #46156
ULEZ, MOT exempt, Bus lanes, the works...
-
• #46157
Don’t forget parking charge exempt

Mechanically quite easy to do and still have the awesome suspension.
There were a few special use cx vehicles in france..

hahaha, I remember olympic lane day.
What a great day.
Other than the brown trouser moment (s)

Still got a Strava KOM down Embankment from that day :)

oh man!
Was the lexus at fault?
All that way to get smashed up. what a shitter. -
• #46164
That’ll buff out.
-
• #46165
Clearly not your fault, I can see that... Mang, that is shit... Sorry...
-
• #46166
Fucks sake.
You ok?
-
• #46167
The Lexus driver admitted fault, she just somehow didn’t see or hear me bright red car with no muffler.
I’m hurting but no real injuries somehow.
-
• #46168
Must have got a proper whip lash off the side impact... Stay safe people.

You best go back to the continent and get another one. And then write it up again for us

That’s harsh! But glad you’re not in too bad a shape, unlike the Fiat.
I once bought an immaculate 16 year old, one owner, E30 325i with only 37000 on the clock. 2 weeks after picking it up a drunk driver crashed into it on Boxing Day whilst it was parked. Still pains me

Rotten luck but glad you're okay. Before I even read your comment, looking at the photo the Lexus clearly seems in the wrong from the road markings.
-
• #46173
That’s pretty similar to what happened to my old Delta. Maybe I should just stop buying red cars...
-
• #46174
I definitely will, I’d probably change it up though. I’d like to go further east and pick a zaz 968.

Glad you are ok.
Good luck with the insurance, but that is fixable...or spares for the next one.
What @Jung said plus:
DIY Creators - Easy to middling DIY home furniture projects (probably a few too many LEDs used)
John Heisz - Definitely more advanced with jigs, workshop tools etc and some really nice cabinet making
Chris Salomone - The hipster DIY guy (including over the top voice narration) but makes pretty simple and nice looking contemporary furniture
Measured Workshop - Again, more advanced workshop stuff but doesn't upload that often
Woodshop Junkies - Not a lot of content so far but seems interesting. Not sure all of his content is great but there's some good jig / workstation videos
Jackman Works - Completely insane builder as exhibited in his latest upload from two weeks ago:
