I had a zombie ped step out on me today. I thought we had eye contact, then she stepped off the kerb directly into my path. Very unnerving, made me feel invisible.
A quick swerve and quite a lot of swearing saved the day for both of us.

Some guy in a hard hat and hi-viz did that to me this morning. There was a plastic barrier directly in front of the entrance/exit to the site in order to stop people walking straight out into the road, so instead he just walked around it... straight into the road!? I just ride around now expecting literally everyone to suddenly step out or any car door to suddenly spring open.

Just off Edgeware road, a mother and daughter stood just off the pavement waiting to cross the road. The mother looks me dead in the eyes as I am 5-7m away and ushers her daughter (who is head down, looking at her phone) out in front of me. Thankfully I avoided her, did I just muck up an attempted murder?!
