The disc brakes on my cargo bike (Winther Kangaroo) have died. Are there any other options for a double disc brake system than Tektro Auriga Twin?

I once worked on a couple Cycles Maximus trikes and I think they had a system that used a motorcycle (well, moped or scooter probably) master cylinder/lever with a splitter and a pair of bicycle calipers.
