Without a doubt the most bizarre and worst attempt at locking with a D lock I've ever seen.

Yup, grew up in LC but left in 2013. Stumbled past those bike locks many times between the orange tree and TJs. Good times!

spotted a few like this today.

even the tyres been nicked, a few minutes with a spoke key and the wheel would follow.

Also spotted about 6 yellow and them orange dockless bikes along southbank beach, is lobbing dockless wonders into the Thames now a weekend sport in London.

I’m not sure if the saddle is part of the lock up technique or not?

Some dude at my work has the same saddle. Never met him though, so can't ask him about it. It's fascinating.
