Update: Pickup from SW17 only /or/ a drop in central London + a fiver for my tube fare. Sorry and thanks!
Dimensions:
Top tube: 58 c-c
Seat tube: 60 c-c
This used to be:
Falcon Black Diamond 10-speed, allegedly “Designed by Ernie Clements”, from the late ‘70s/early ‘80s. One of the last iterations of that model so, rather than being a slinky road machine, it’s got functional lugs, gas-pipey tubing and a tattered Falcon ‘Union Jack’ logo: The whole thing screams “no deal Brexit!”. Perfect for 2019.
And now it’s:
A single speed with bags of character. I cleaned it up, waxed the frame, stripped-and-primed the fork: Then converted it to single speed and have been using it as a commuter ever since. It’s solid and forgiving and drives through everything, but obviously not the nippiest bike you’ll ever ride. Perfect for a bit of mid-lane hogging on CS7. Bags of character. Bags.
Spec:
Falcon Black Diamond frame, Tange fork (chrome about 2/3rds). Plenty of room for large tyres.
no-name flipflop wheelset with 18t or 20t freewheel*, 37-622 Marathon Plus tyres
Dura Ace 7402 crankset with 53t Shimano 6600 chainring, Shimano SPD-424 pedals
Shimano BL-R550 brake levers, Tektro 559 brakes, Fleegle Pro bars (approx 660mm)
Velo Orange stainless steel mudguards.
Horn. HONK.
Saddle NOT included, but can supply a Giant generic racing saddle to get you going.
£40 picked up from Tooting, £45 delivered in town.
