My, sadly now deceased, next door neighbour used to spend 10 minutes every winter morning scraping the ice off his car with it idling to warm up in order to drive precisely 0.6 miles (I looked it up) to work.

That is bonkers isn't it. Truly mad.

This car felt so guilty about its own naughty behaviour that it dobbed itself in to the cops, despite its owner not wanting it to:

If only there had been someone to control the bus:

Since that bus collided with the bridge and there were no injuries we can assume no people were involved at all #transformers

Clearly a driverless tale

“A BMW driver “miraculously” escaped unharmed after a car they were driving flipped on its roof in Regent’s Park…. Shocked witnesses told how a female driver managed to escape the BMW 118i unharmed after it apparently mounted a pavement and crashed into a parking meter.”
It is frankly terrifying that these cars are so wilful and reckless. You never know what they are going to do next. It probably got startled by a loud noise or tried to mate with the parking meter mentioned.

Interesting article from Deutsche Welle which I wasn't sure where to put:

This car was obviously drunk

Cars are definitely getting nosier:
One car slows down to look as a fire engine quickly arrives at the scene

The reporting on last nights awful events was terribly sloppy.
"Van drove into people on the bridge" The van then drove towards Borough Etc.

Not sure if this is the right thread, but the traffic reporter on R2 keeps mentioning some bridge that's closed, saying: 'It's open to pedestrians and cyclists but all vehicles are diverted.
Sorry, didn't realise a bike isn't a vehicle.
-
• #123
Indeed. It isn't closed. More open than ever

There was talk of doing that with Prince Street bridge in Bristol for a while. Tangible rage via local newspaper comments.
