Seriously though I have the same issue (Raynaud's) and my best bet is lobster gloves worn loose as YAL mentioned to stop tightness cutting blood flow. Even if dexterity is reduced put them on when you are warm beforehand and don't take them off! Make sure your core is warm as well.
Anyone have a recommend on these recent posts for something that stops my thumbs going completely numb? Getting to the point where am considering wrapping them in cling-film or something. Have tried sealskinz, castelli, rapha, various planet-x/carnac, evans, nike running things, layers and only those lobster-mitt things work for a bit - but after an hour in real cold it's painful / something like Raynaud syndrome numbness where it's almost to hard to shift gear.
NB: Old man with probably poor circulation.
