Set up a revolut account or similar, get them to send the money via bank transfer.
Bit of a faff for a wiper though unless they're more expensive than I thought.
Or bitcoin of course.

I think that's the general feeling, probably not worth the hassle. I think it's more the principle than the cost that they're concerned about.

Send the money to me?

Or ask them to send it to a charity, I guess.

Will Waterstones exchange books without a receipt for ideally cash, but acceptably a credit note?
-

couldn't you just buy from amazon then go and get a bigger refund from waterstones?

I'm clearing out a load of drawers with old clothes. Some of them are going to the charity shop but some are a bit too knackered for that. Is there any kind of textile recycling/some other use rather than just binning them?
-
• #95135
Most charity shops will take clean 'rag' - phone if you're not sure.

Most H&M stores have a clothes recycling box by the tills. They take any fabric

Well yes, I suppose so. That's not my intention here though, just got some unwanted history/war books given to me at xmas. I've posted them in the books thread.

Does anyone know if or where you can buy replacement quill stem bolts & washers?
Standard M8 cap head hex bolts have a larger head than the ones fitted in a quill stem.

Hope did a concept but don't know if they made it into production.
Otherwise, check on eBay if there are any Fixcraft cassette hubs, they're 120pm but only comes in 36h or 48h.

Perfect! Thank you, didn't know what they were called!

Will do, thanks -

Does anyone know anything about these? Who manufactures them, what they look like built up, etc?

"Scotch Brite colour", love that they named it.

There are a number of BMX cassette hubs which could work in a 120mm frame with the addition of a few washers. As the ones with ⅜" or 10mm axles are typically aimed at small people with small rims, lower spoke counts such as 24 and 28 are available too.

This should do the trick:

Cheers all, will enquire at the local charity shops and I have a feeling that TK Maxx may have some kind of recylcling/charity box.

Is there a good alternative to Samsung Xpress M2026 ?
What I want is a small, inexpensive b&w laser printer for 100-200 pages per year.
I must not look shit as it will sit on my desk and I will have to look at it a lot.I also see this (Ricoh SP 150) which is better as it's smaller,
also nicer / has added bonus feature of possibility to stick two small black dots on the front to make it look like a "meh" face. This is about double the price of the Samsung though.

Pixma G1200, but no scanner and no wifi.
Really?
For the cost of a wiper I'd be inclined to give it a miss....
