Thanks WimVDD. I don’t think I’ve ever seen another one for sale so it’s cool to hear of someone else who owns one!

What size of top tube and seat tube?
Will you like sale to Taiwan +shipping
Thanks and regards!

Hi Jeffrey, the seatpost is 56cm (centre to top). I don't have the top tube length to hand but I'll measure it straight after work for you tonight.
As long as the payment is done through Paypal so both parties have some form of buyer/seller protection then I'm happy to go forward with a sale to Taiwan. I have no idea of the cost of shipping or of a reliable courier service who would see that the bike gets to you unscathed - again I will look into this for you (I can't accept any responsibility for damages sustained while in transportation).
Alternatively, I'm also happy for you to arrange your own courier to collect and ship the bike to you if that offers more peace of mind.
Thanks for getting in touch!

They don't pop up very often, no. I believe @JeremyDaval has a very nice one too.

Fluted Columbus Nivacrom with Cinelli lugs. :)

Wasn’t Nivacrom a name for a steel alloy Columbus used to make specific tubesets? EL and Max (amongs others) were made out of it, as opposed to Cyclex, which was used to make older tubesets like SL and SLX.
Was Nivacrom a name used for both an alloy and a tubeset? Is yes, what alloy was used to make Nivacrom tubeset? :)

I believe that Nivacrom refers to both the model of Columbus fluted tubing and the material itself as there's a bit of a write up on the properties online:
"This is the most famous of Columbus' patented steels, specifically designed to make tubes for bicycle frames. It has the advantage over other steels of combining extremely high mechanical characteristics with great tenacity in the welding area. Alloy elements, vanadium and niobium, precipitate in the metal matrix blocking any grain growth and the resulting decline in mechanical characteristics, even at temperatures exceeding 1000C. It should be noted that, following the introduction of Nivacrom, the automobile industry began to use similar steels for producing bearing and reinforcement structures. Nivacrom though has been developed for top of the range competitive bicycle frame use."
Of course correct me if I'm wrong!

Thanks for your interest everyone. FYI I’ve decided to give it until the end of the week before giving eBay a go. In compliance with forum rules I will be taking this ad down (if possible).
Any last minute offers please feel free to give me a shout!
1993 Carrera Columbus Nivacrom steel road bike (56cm frame).
Campagnolo 8 speed Chorus groupset, Athena Brakes and H+Son Deep V rims. Cinelli Forks, dropouts and frame details. The chrome is in great condition and still gleams (especially after a polish). Unfortunately the paint is a little knocked and scratched from storage however there is no damage to the steel underneath.
Selling as I haven't got enough space to keep it. I don't think I'll ever find another one of these bikes again - it really is an absolute stunner. Asking for £600 ono.
I'm happy for the buyer to arrange their own courier or to collect from Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
