do you find you get more close passes etc. since having cameras?
i used one for a while, but ultimately stopped using it... i'm not sure if it made me more aggressive / confrontational as a rider, or whether i just noticed bad drivers more as i was subconsciously looking out for them to capture them on film...
i think it made me more 'zen' after stopping using it.

No, kinda the opposite. Instead of retaliating after a dick move, I just carry on and then report the dickheads to the police.
More people should use them so they'd stop running lights if they knew that ~2min of footage was now useless :)
It also proved without a doubt I had nothing to do with the woman who ran into me. I was legit worried that I'd done something wrong but nope I was solid as a rock and now... £££

Got cameras? Took me maybe 20min but I got a nice sense of satisfaction reporting close passes from the last two days. Now I've got the free video editing thingie installed and kinda know how to trim vids it should be quicker. Wish I could automate the Roadsafe form filling.
