Out of curiosity, should I be expecting very close to max hr at the point of failure? And if not, do I need to htfu has something gone wrong?
My last which saw an increase of 8-10% topped out at 148%
Edit; ooos thought you were saying max hour, I’m guessing you mean heart rate
Erm, not really but you might get close. Normally you'd get near to max HR just 'after' the effort. Do what I do and stop using HR straps (actually gone back to using one on the turbo only but I don't really pay attention to HR) :)
