• My 700c gravel kings sucked too

It seemed that the 700c version isn't a popular option, which differs quite a lots from my 48mm 650b Gravel King.

So far, it has 3,500km and counting, the rear is now starting to show wear, and only had one slow puncture, I was quite happy with the grip both on and off road (latter admittedly in the summer), however the Grand Bois Hetres last way longer than the GK (managed over 10,000km on the same tyres).

Lastly, the 38mm 650b gravel king while grippy, felt weird and stiff compare to the compass loup loup (and the compass are heavier).

I had 650b ones so did jambon, we agreed they were crap

  • I've gone through a few sets so far. First was before they were tubeless. I felt like tubed was better and less skittish.
Have to agree with ed though. They're much better in 700 guise.

  • So many p**ctures...
I gave up and went back to Durano Plus for the peace of mind. Nothing like as plush though.
