These are under their gravel section, the 45x28 (21mm internal) model with DT Swiss 350 hubs.

Why not mount it between the stays? Looks like there is room? Or even direct mount the light in portrait on the inside of the braze on?

Really like the ride of my Kepler, probably my favourite bike surprisingly. Just a great all rounder, ideal compromise.

Thanks team,
It's a pretty nice ride (more alive than the Straggler) - but the unicrown fork makes me sick. I might upgrade to the Soma Low-trail fork, and paint it to match.
Other plans are a new wheelset and 40mm+ all black tyres, maybe even 650b.

I was definitely adverse to the unicrown at first but with a rack on you don’t even notice it, plus it’s pure functional and rides well.

• #122133
Cheers, have been torn between the 35 and 45 depth sets for a while
-
• #122134
I was definitely averse to the unicrown

Even autocorrect can’t save me.

autocorrect can’t save me
Depends on the quality of the autocorrect, simple spelling correction won't catch malapropisms but a decent grammar checker should have pulled you up on "adverse" in that context.

• #122137
Why bother with a checker when I’ve got a Tester though?
-
• #122138
Depends on whether you have an irony deficiency or not.

• #122139
Don’t I get that from my berocca?

Had to google

looks tidy! i'm still fettling the position on my kepler. i need a 120mm stem to get me closer to the position i'm used to.
frame is ace though. stuck some nano's on for some offroad action last week. great fun! -

Got a brand new frame with threaded ISO BB; ISO DA 7700 cups are so tight they're not screwing in. Tried installing a 5500 BB and it slides in easily.
Does it sound like the BB threads need chasing or is it something else?
-
• #122143
Almost certainly. Any paint in the threads?
-
• #122144
No, the threads are clean but it's just an insert in carbon frame; perhaps not of the highest quality. Will get it chased. Thanks for confirming.

• #122145
Didn't get a wald but instead got this rusty piece o junk 4freee to perfectly match the frame. Already had to ziptie it at one spot.

I’ve made some updates to my day one, originally I bought it because I’d moved to the top of a big hill and thought the nexus hub gear would provide a good balance between gear range and low maintenance. Well the nexus was pretty shite especially with the microshite bar end shifter. I persevered for a while with a rapid fire but ended up sacking it off and turning it SS. Used it over a winter and on wet days then train rules changed and I got a Brompton. Been getting lazy and getting the train almost all the way home instead of riding the 6-7 miles and 500-600ft gain uphill home as Brompton is awful to ride up hill. Realised I was getting fatter and slower again so decided to start making cycle reservations on the train turn the day one into the ultimate commuter.
It’s now the day one x ten. Combination of bits I had laying around and other cheapish bits. First voyage home today was great in spite of headwind all the way. So nice to be back on a “proper” bike.
Tl;DR put gears on ss that used to have different gears

Is there an off-the-shelf fork which fits these criteria:
1" threadless
rim brake
< 48mm offset
guard mounts
crown and mid mountsBasically a 1" version of the thorn audax mk3 is what I'm looking for. Anyone have any ideas?

that thing look small

Love that, tempted to build something very similar.
I’ve actually been considering swapping my straggler for a Kepler, partially for that reason. I was hoping for a slightly sportier ride, whilst still being my ‘useful’ bike.
