I'll be making a start on the next Brommers Bike soon, which will be my first homebrewed frame made for disc brakes. In order to make life as complicated as possible, I'm using Syntace dropouts, separate bosses for the FM caliper and, with a large hat-tip to @coldharbour and Isen, hooped T45 monostay seat stays.
But my question is this - what's the minimum angle between the chain stays and seat stays you can get away with and not have to put bends in the ends of the seat stays in order to provide clearance for the calipers? I'd rather have them straight (when viewed from the side) if possible. R8070 Ultegra calipers if it makes any difference.
