Seems like an expensive operation for a watch you don't seem to like that much?

I do like the watch, 90% of the time I'm very happy with it, but for the other 10% I can't help thinking I'd prefer a modern lume colour rather than faux-aged.

I did consider selling it, but if I can modify it to make my perfect watch, why not?

Using service parts I can always put it back to stock.

I like it too. If it was a fifty quid Swatch I'd be keen. For the price though I think I'd spend my money elsewhere.

It’s nice, but too white. Needs an off-white-ish colour like a little yellow or so. Maybe to match the dial text?

Maybe get rid of the numerals too. And...

The original looks warmer.

I was trying to be a right troll... but now you’ve gone and done it. Absolute jizzgasm of a watch if it could be lumed like so.

The chap I spoke with said £150 to re-lume and re-assemble.
