My tree is in a pot and it seems a bit sad to have the council chip it when the time comes if it could still live on, but I don't have access to a garden. Best bet to put it on Gumtree for free and see if anyone wants to take it and plant it? I feel like Haringey council would frown upon me digging a hole in Finsbury Park and doing some guerilla gardening but I suppose that's an option. I could also... ugh... talk to my neighbours and see if any of the ground floor flats on my road want it.
